That’s bad ass! Great concept~
I love the detail on his left arm but his right arm looks oddly smooth in comparison.

I think that the three main reasons for that are 1.) you're looking at the side and bottom of the arm, where that kind of scabbing doesn't really happen, 2.) that arm is in more of a stretched position, pulling the skin tighter and looking more smooth, and 3.) I ran out of time to suggest the kind of texturing on his arm. That, and I might not've even thought about that when I did it.

a pretty brilliant painting, i have to say i'm rather impressed. i don't think i have seen something like this before on dA, and the fact that it only has a few comments makes me a little sad. you have a very clear, crisp way of drawing and i adore that very much. your colour use is phenomenal as well. i really enjoy looking at this mans backpack and seeing what sort of things he has within it. i think i like the hammer hidden in there the most. :) small little details that i keep finding on him keep me interested and not wanting to look away. this is just a great, refreshing piece.
